Wickes/Homebase bathroons
Anyone had a bathroom fitted by one of the big stores?
Any recommendations?

Cheers

sorry I forgot.

If at all possible avoid using the fitting service of Homebase, Wickes and any other similar company.

As Honest says Victoria Plumb.

The missus cousin is a plumber and gets all his customers to buy their bathroom suites from there.

Bought all my own stuff on the internet and got a Pole to fit it. Paid well under half what I would have paid B&Q etc to have done it.

B&Q give you a "project manager" to make you feel special and to justify the ludicrous price.

Used Victoria plumb and someone independent to fit ours and saved loads.

I'd avoid the major shareholder cunts like B&Q or Homebase like the plague...

Independent builders yards can order much better quality ceramics and fittings for less. This is how I did it and don't regret it.

Moran's are pretty reliable

Not sure of the point for a bathroom. You don't need a design service and it's cheaper to use independent suppliers and fitters

Whenever I've bought stuff from Wickes the quality wasn't great, can't comment on the bathrooms though. Ask a plumber who they'd recommend.
